The Studio

Founded in Fall of 2016, Faeber is a collection of jewelry that aims to elevate the relationship between fine craft and design.  As a process oriented brand, we believe a hands on approach to development furthers the overall design and visual impact of our work. With that in mind ,we take great care to fabricate our jewelry using traditional processes that have been passed down from generation to generation. All of our designs are developed by hand in our Burlington, VT studio and fabricated for production by artisans in NYC’s Diamond District.

Faeber is committed to sustainability and conscious consumerism. We verify the origins of all our materials. All of our metals, stones and accents are upcycled, deadstock, or fair mined. 

The Founder & Designer

Aliza Guttman founded Faeber Studio based on the belief that design can reach its fullest potential through hands-on, process-based development.  She finds that her best work comes after working and reworking a idea physically. By being able to touch and feel a piece as it comes to life she is able to alter even the most minute details to create a visual harmony. 

Aliza began her metalsmith training in Colorado before continuing on to California and then Savannah. A graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design, Aliza has consulted for the likes of Coach, Monique Péan and Foundrae and was a 2015 Recipient of the CFDA Design+ award and a 2022 SCAD Alumni Atelier Recipient. She's worked on jewelry that's been worn by Michelle Obama, David Adjaye, Eddie Redmayne, and Alicia Silverstone. 

After many years in NYC, she returned to her mountain roots and set up shop in Burlington, VT.  Most days, you can find her  in the studio with our "forever assistant" Sasha the dog.
