In the 18th century Napoleon Bonaparte, fell madly in love with Josephine. Though their union was frowned upon, Napoleon's love persisted and he proposed with a striking two stone ring, the interior engraved with the sentiment "Toi et moi toujours" or you and me forever. 

In the centuries since, the romantic tradition of this style has continued. One stone juxtaposing another, creating a unique harmony between the two - very poetic no?

In this contemporary take on the classic Toi et Moi ring, two Australian sapphires are prong set on an organic shaped gold band.
